The Department of Management, BBDITM, in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), successfully organized a workshop on “National Startup Day” on 16th January 2026. The session was conducted by Dr. Rajesh C. Madan, Assistant Professor, Government Engineering College, Valsad. The workshop aimed to create awareness about the significance of National Startup Day and to encourage students to explore entrepreneurial opportunities and innovation-driven ventures.

Summary of the Event:
The Department of Management, Babu Banarasi Das Institute of Technology and Management, Lucknow, in association with IIC, organized a workshop on “National Startup Day” on 16th January 2026 at 12:00 PM onwards through Google Meet.
The keynote speaker, Dr. Rajesh C. Madan, delivered an insightful session highlighting the importance of startups in the Indian economy, government initiatives supporting entrepreneurship, innovation ecosystems, and the role of youth in nation-building through startups. He emphasized practical aspects of identifying business opportunities, developing innovative ideas, and converting them into sustainable ventures.
The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from students. Participants gained clarity about startup policies, funding opportunities, and the entrepreneurial mindset required for success. The workshop concluded with an interactive Q&A session, making it highly informative and motivating for aspiring entrepreneurs.
