The Career Counselling Division is a unit of the Training and Placement Department of the University. This division performs specific functions related to competitive examination counselling and guidance, including arranging structured training programs in coordination with various Schools of the University. The division plays a vital role in strengthening students’ career development and enhancing their employability. Career counselling services focus on imparting essential life skills that empower students with confidence and clarity in decision-making. The objective is to support students in navigating their academic and professional journeys effectively while enhancing their emotional, interpersonal, and intellectual growth. The division actively promotes academic excellence, personal development, and social well-being.

Career Counselling

We majorly focus on guiding young minds by helping them understand their strengths while providing the necessary knowledge of emerging trends across different fields.
Guidance for competitive examinations such as NEET, GRE, CAT, UPSC, IELTS and other higher-level exams is provided to students with the objective to:

  • Make students aware of the various opportunities available during that period.
  • Generate interest and motivation among students to appear for various examinations.

To help students succeed in these examinations, special coaching sessions, lectures, and tutorials are organized by the in-house training team and invited experts.
Students are also trained in essential career skills including writing an impressive CV, developing communication and soft skills, exploring career opportunities, preparing for interviews and group discussions, and assessing career paths best suited to their personality and interests.
