Workshop on “Business Model Canvas”

Brief Description:

The Entrepreneurship Development Cell (ED Cell) – Uddyonati organized an insightful workshop on “Business Model Canvas” for first-year management students under the UDGHOSH Forum. The objective was to introduce students to the practical application of business model development and help them understand the fundamentals of entrepreneurial planning.

The workshop was conducted by EDC Head Ms. Ritu Srivastava and her team, who collectively guided the students throughout the session. The entire program was organized under the valuable guidance and supervision of Prof. Dr. Preeti Mishra, Faculty Coordinator, ED Cell Uddyonati.

Summary of the Event:

The workshop began with a detailed explanation of the Business Model Canvas, where students learned about its nine components – Customer Segments, Value Proposition, Channels, Customer Relationships, Key Activities, Key Resources, Key Partners, Cost Structure, and Revenue Streams.

The event was smoothly coordinated by the EDC Team:

Following the lecture, an activity-based session was held. Students were provided with BMC sheets and were instructed to create their own business models based on innovative ideas. They later presented their models in front of the respected judges:

Prof.(Dr.)Diyva Gangwar, Head Department of Management gave prizes to the winners and appreciated all the participants of the Business Model Canvas workshop for their enthusiastic involvement and creativity.
